I'd rather talk about YOU

If you are reading this website the chances are you've met me already and know all kinds of things about me that do not relate to my career!

After university I cut my teeth as an events producer at Informa UK, a

FTSE 100 company working in the legal and corporate team. I then went on to DLA Piper, now the largest law firm in the UK where I headed up their commercial training arm. After a brief furore into trade associations - working as a project manager at the Food and Drink Federation, I left London, moved up North and found my passion - the education sector.

I was Marketing Director at Ashville College from 2009 until 2015 and then left to broaden my reach having a split career between independent education and edtech. In Independent Education I have advised, mystery shopped and helped schools across the UK. I've also been a board member of AMCIS and spoken at ISBA, IAPS and ISA events. Through the Independent Schools Portal which I co-own we support hundreds of schools with marketing webinars. I am privileged to work with schools in a variety of capacities - from one off projects to audits to mentoring.

With my edtech hat on I was the Marketing Lead at the startup YourFavouriteTeacher, which sold to Minverva Academy. I have advised several start-ups and through my work at BlueCow Education which I co-founded, I've had the pleasure of working with 100s of education companies from the very small new start ups to some of the largest global brands. I love nothing more than helping connect schools and companies. My work with edtech companies is done via Edinsight.
